UWE - Die Festival

3 — 6 June 2021

About UWE

UWE – Die Festival is an international networking theatre workshop for practical work in student contexts. UWE is coming together, exchange of ideas and experiment. UWE means to break with role models, genre boundaries, the traditional theatre concept, the elitist ivory tower and isolation. UWE stands for diversity.

UWE celebrates international exchange. The festival is organized by students from the Theaterakademie and is fuelled by the participants’ creativity.

This year UWE is moving into a new space  the digital space. From 3  6 June daily interventions will take place. They will be recorded in European public space and can be followed here on this page. Over the four days, the platform will continuously grow and present the performers and their work.

Our Team is producing a podcast to show you what UWE is all about this year.
